I think:
Volts per second = V/T , volt seconds = V X T. Volts per second is a rate of change, so if a points changes from 3 V to 10 V in .03 seconds, the rate of change = (10 - 3 )V X 1/.03 = ~210 V/seconds. This rate of change is important as it governs the amount of current passing through capacitors.
To work out the volt seconds using the same figures. 3 V + 7/2 = 6.5 V (average voltage) X .03 =~ .195 VS. I have never seen this unit used in electronics. Thanks
