My JVC GR16 VHS-C camcorder stops recording 15 minutes before the
60min tape end. The 60min (not 45min) tape is selected in the menu.
How to make the camcorder record to the last 15 minutes of the tape?

sounds like there's either problem with the take up drive or motion
sensors.
without training, tools and experience of such work, your chances of
fixing it yourself are about zero. get it to a technician.

Can rewinding to the tape end and back show to the camcorder where is
the tape end in fact? There camcorder is away from me now. Another
person is using it now.
