Hi,
Been using this over a year to charge my vivo phone without issue but yesterday it stop charging. I pry the case and found the split 1k ohm resistor. I wish to know if it is ok to replace the split 1k ohm resistor with a 1.2k ohm resistor as on picture since I do not have the exact resistor for replacement.

Thank you for your help.

It's not a resistor, it's an inductor, 1000μH going by the colour coding and the 'L1' designation on the PCB.

Best search for a reason for its demise before just throwing another one in.......

I have checked the bottom pcb but there seems to be no other burnt marks or anything unusual. Just wonder why the inductor at L1split? Need your further advice. Thank you for reply.

Usually not worth repairing those things - without a schematic and test equipment etc there can be numerous reasons for failure that would take far too long to delve into.
