Many electronic products have a switching power supply that works with AC input from 85V to 250V.

I know that many electronic devices have auto range power supply.

But, i want to make my own Power supply, just like a project of 0-30V Variable Power Supply in This site.

Can anyone know about it.

Thanks

If you want to make the 0-30V power supply on this site to work with different AC input voltages then you will need to add a high-power switching AC-DC power supply to provide it with about 40V at 3A to replace the project's transformer and rectifier.

If I understand correctly, you want to make a "universal input" (85 - 250 VAC ) adjustable switch mode power supply (0 to 30VDC @ 3A)… correct?

This can be done, but the control loop is very, very tricky because of the wide swing in duty cycle and potential variation of the load!!! Take a look at some of the apps notes on the TI (formerly Unitrode) web-site.
