I want to bridge the top and the bottom rows and reconnect the red to the top row without soldering. I want to be able to plug and un-plug at will. What do I need? 1000174460.jpgLet's do this

I presume you will solder the bridges on top and bottom rows?.
If so, solder an extra wire from the required row to what length you need.
Then either use a crimp bullet/spade connector or any other kind of connector.
DC jack, audio jack, molex connector etc etc. obviously you’ll only use one terminal for the red wire.
Use your imagination!!

I was hoping not to solder at all, as if there were adapters that could attach onto these terminals but okay, if I have to then I solder the rows and like you said bridge them with a wire but then I guess I'd have to solder a bunch of female connectors to the rows of my choice.

Okay, I'll have to get better at soldering then. Sometimes though I cheat and just use a small torch to melt the solder after I carefully place it at the joint. You got any recommendations for an iron less than $30 that is good for beginners?

So you want to disconnect all the wires? Not just the red wire?.
You could try crimp spade terminals and push them on the ‘U’ shaped terminals, obviously only half the ‘U’ terminal.
Failing that, a decent cheap soldering iron would be an Antex 25W iron. I’ve used them for years without issues. Prices differ but usually £20 - £30.

Ultimately I'm bridging the top and bottom rows, positive and negative as that is how my bike sees it

Who soldered the red and black wires on the bottom rows?.
I think you need to check which connections are positive and negative before bridging anything.
If I were doing this, I’d open the battery to make sure.
