Water level meter

I need help to hook up a 0-190 ohm water level sensor to a 12 v panel meter

You will need to provide all the detail/specs on all of equipment you have and what environment the install will take place.

Maybe the water level sensor is a 190 ohms potentiometer with a float that moves its slider up when the water level is high and moves the slider down when the water level is low?

We do not know of the potentiometer can survive 12V across it.

It’s a standard resistance reed switch and resister float switch and my volt meter has an impedance of 790 ohms.4vdc on empty and 12vdv on full.
I cannot use the standard gauge that comes with it as it will upset my original control panel look.

So is it an AC meter then or is that a mistake?
As before, please provide the specs on whatever gear you intend to use.
What power supply are you using?
Where is a link to the new guage details?
