Dears,

I saw an IC "SG3524N" (from TI), in a 20' back-up computer UPS system.

The data sheet says it is a pwm IC.

But, could it be used for generating AC out of DC? (Col1&2s)

    U can make ac from dc with it but it require a transfromer to step up....

this is a Pulse Width Modulation  SMPS chip.

A good  device in deed. I suggest that you may see the datasheet from www.alldatasheet.com
