I think it came out of a toy. It has a 3mm diameter x 4mm long plastic spring-loaded plunger that springs back after you press and release it. There are two contacts for wires.

I need to order a dozen of these, but I don’t know the style, description, specs, etc.

Hi, they are momentary push switches.
Either push to make or push to break (contacts).
Some might call them non latching too.
Search google images and also include terms like ‘PCB mount’ or ‘chassis mount’.

That looks like a pc-board version of an appliance door switch, as in a refrigerator. Is it NC or NO?

Hi
Honeywell is a good brand for that kind of switch.
:)
Mm I wonder...
Do you know how to test your switch, to see whether it is NC or NO?

Why do you need to order a dozen of something you know nothing about? Why do you think your example came from a toy? Are you trying to make or repair a toy (or toys) that require a dozen of these switches? Can you determine whether the device you have is a normally-open switch that closes when the plunger is depressed, or whether it is a normally-closed switch that opens when the plunger is depressed? Why did you post to this forum after almost four years of silence? Was it something someone said (or didn't say) that kept you away for so long?

But welcome back anyway. If you are still interested in resurrecting broken electronic toys, please let us know what you are doing now.
