Have you ever spent more time searching online for the right size box than you did building the project? This guy has the answer

Love it when people can make their own pro-looking housings. It's often very difficult to get the right look off-the-shelf. Most often I develop my projects in 'reverse' by determining what housing I have and then what might look good in it!

I saw a video of a chap using aluminium (not, NOT aluminum ) by using a circular saw with the depth of cut set so that the blade JUST skimmed the surface, leaving a channel that allowed him to bend the line perfectly instead of ending up with a rounded edge. Great technique for making chassis or boxes.

Might actually have been him! I can only recall the process, not the actual person who did it.

I'd like to figure out how to do it with plastic one day. If I can ever find a plastic supplier close enough that I can get to.....

I was really impressed at how well hammering the steel around the buck worked for him, though.

Hmmm. I got the impression that the steel stretched at those rounded corners but he didn't show what he did to shrink it.
