I couldn’t find the info on that. It appears to be advertising a cool white LED.
But your question still stands. They come in a variety of packages and polarity. Some are RGB common anode and others are RGB common cathode.
A controller?, this depends on how you want to use it.
There are colour changing LEDs with resistors ‘on board’, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Your link points to different types of LED (color, wattage). Which one do you actually use?
The informatzion on the LEDs on te product site is very thin. It states
300 - 700 mA
3.0 - 3.4 V
The model is HP-135-A-01, but I can't find a datasheet for this model number.
how do I wire this for 12v transformer to the rest of my project?
These LEDs obviously can't be operated from 12 V, even less from a transformer. You will at least need a rectifier to convert the transformer's output from AC to DC. You will in adition need series resistors (or another type of current control) to limit the current to within the specified range from 300 mA - 700 mA.

We will neeed more information about this part of your project to be able to give you more information.

  • The specification says

  • Spanning 300-700mA

  • Voltage3.0-3.4 V
  • So, any 3V, 700 ma power supply should work.

Not necessarily. It's not that easy.
LEDs are current controlled. Therefore you need a current source (aka LED driver) or a current limiter (e.g. a series resistor).
The required voltage typically depends on the color of the LED(s) and on the current settings.

Besides: the op asked for operation from 12 V. Obviously he has no 3 V power supply.

thanks
you showed me I made an error. i needed 12v for my display.

There are single multi coloured LEDs that fade.
You can get slow or fast fade, 0.5 secs to 1 second fade rates.
EBay is your friend.
