Would this work on a motorcycle?

Hi guys.

I've been given access to a fully functional Honda CBR 600 motorcyle to mess around with the electronics (just for the record, I'm allowed to break the bike :) ).

While looking through the projects here I found this one in the 'Automotive' section.

My question is...Would this work on the above named motorbike?  If not, does anyone know of circuit that would perform the same function?

Thanks in advance peeps :)

Thanks for your reply. :)

I've just checked the bike and it uses a 12v battery.  Although since my last post we've decided to sell the cbr and use a kawasaki ninja 900 as the test subject instead.  It also uses a 12v batt. :)

Cheers again

I found a simpler circuit that the guy build and tested.
I think it should work for 12V system as well. Instead of using a darlington, a pnp audio power transistor is used.
