I've see so many videos on this circuit. Got the components and built this circuit, but I can't get it to work. I've STARTED  with 12vdc from a lead battery to check circuit.  I'll post details to U guys as I'm ask. I will say that I don't have a scope or a LCR meter only a DMM. Mosfets don't even get hot I've got 12vdc going thorugh inductor and then to drain of the mosfet and have a ground at source and about .5 volts at gate??? I've built the 555 driver with no issue I just cant get this resonance thing down I guess.

I see no schematic in your post so I do not know what you are talking about.
