The Minisforum MS-A2 is a high-performance mini PC designed for power users, developers, and enthusiasts requiring strong computational capabilities in a compact form.

It comes equipped with top-tier processors like the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX or Ryzen 9 7945HX, both offering 16 cores and 32 threads, with clock speeds up to 5.4GHz. The device supports up to 96GB DDR5 RAM and a range of high-speed NVMe SSD storage options, including up to 15TB capacity, making it ideal for heavy multitasking, virtualization, or content creation. It includes a built-in PCIe x16 slot (PCIe 4.0 x8) for GPU or network card expansion, enhancing its flexibility for gaming, AI workloads, or networking tasks.

Its versatile video output options (HDMI 2.1 and dual USB-C with DP 2.0 support) allow up to 8K@60Hz or 4K@144Hz display output, while rich I/O ports include 10G SFP+ LAN, dual 2.5G LAN, multiple USB-A and USB-C ports, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. With Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, fan cooling systems for CPU and SSD, the MS-A2 is suited for advanced desktop computing, edge AI, home lab setups, and small form factor server use. Previously, Minisforum introduced the UM760 Slim mini PC, based on AMD Ryzen 5 7640HS SoC and AMD Radeon 760M GPU. Compared to it, the MS-A2 is a more powerful and updated mini PC with an AMD Ryzen 9 SoC.
