OK, I also assumed there would be loads of suppliers of DC-DC converters offering what I want, but using Google, I couldn't find any that do 6v to 12v. How about some specific examples?

Are there any off-the-shelf modules to allow 12v device to be powered from 6v motorbike battery?
Needs to provide 5 to 10 Watts.
