I use F09HP, which is a female DB9 sitting on the board hoizontal. You can also use F09HPS which is the same connector but with a different schematic symbol. The F09VP or F09VPS will sit on the board pointing straight up if this is the style of connector you want to use.
If you will be using a male connector, you will want to use the M09 versions or the pin-out will be backwards when you connect it to another device. Many do not take this into consideration. You must know if you will use Female or Male connector on the board at this point in the design, so be careful.
