MP
I just noticed your post. I have not built this circuit, but it sounds like the message you are getting is related to the computer you are using. What operating system? Do you have administrative rights on the system? Perhaps you are asking the computer to act on an instruction that goes against a setting. Have you tried the circuit with a different computer to see if you get the same results?MP
mixos
When i tryed to test the software alone (without hardware) the same error apears in Win XP Pro. This is clear that has to do with the software constuction. I suggest to e-mail the author here: natan[nospam]email.si (don't forget to replace [nospam] with @)Also try to istall this on your system: http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/pc/020/port95nt.exeOr try this PC thermometer: http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/pc/016/index.htmlI have tested it and it works nice, it works with the joypad port.Don't forget to report back any corrections. bogdan
i don't really know what the problem is. but the error should not occur in winME or 98. it is an XP problem. i does not allow direct usage of the port.
