billy Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 Hey, try these :www.liquidmods.dewww.modwarehouse.deIt is a good idea to go for a larger LCD, let's say a 20x4 or evena 40x4 if you have space. You can go for blue too, if you tired upfrom the ordinary green ones. The connections for larger LCDs are pretty the same. A good ideais to add pots for adjusting the backlight intensity, and moreoverto switch on and off from software, isn't it ? ;)Full schematics at the BEST LCD freeware site :www.jalcds.deRead the related article in the Greek section. We are planninga mass buy of 20x4 blue large LCDs from liquidmods. If you arein, tell us :)Germany rulez ;) Quote

stef Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 Hello,I have constructed the project but I am having difficulties. I think the hardware part is ok, even i dont get the starting full line of dots. I would like a little more information about the software part. I dont understand the use of port95nt.exe. It must run always or just the first time? How should I use it? Thank you. Quote
mixos Posted December 10, 2003 Report Posted December 10, 2003 You just install it and it runs as system service. So there must be a problem with your connections. Just recheck carefully. Quote
