poriet
Hi,One of the projects in this website cocerns a circuit which uses a TV flyback to generate high voltages for experiments on sparks and so on.The circuit diagram shows just 2 windings on the LOPT; primary and secondary ( EHT winding ), but, in reality, a real TV flyback has several windings designed to generate various voltages for the TV set. Theres no simple way that I know of to decide which of these windings is which ( resistance measurements are not much help - they could easily mislead )So, how does one find the original primary? How did the author do it on his?RegardsPorietPS Please email any answers to me, or I'll probably never see them.Ta.
