can i convert gear motor rpm (100 to 60rpm)???

I brought a 200 rpm gear motor for my pick and place robot but I can't control it. Can I reduce its its rpm to 60???? Please help...

Are you feeding it with DC or AC? Rated Voltage?

Then I suppose you can easily adjust the rpm by reduction of the supply voltage.
