Laptop fan repair

Hi,

I was just testing the laptop internal cooling fan with external battery it was working fine.,,but suddenly after few test it is not working ? i also removed and cleansed the inner parts, but still does not work ? is it repair able...

it has 3 wire yellow, black and red ...

Please suggest ...

What battery did you use to test, and which wires did you connect it to?
The black is ground , the red is power, the yellow is either a pwm control, or rpm signal. (cant remember)
If you damaged it you will need a new one, unless someone here can magically show you how to disassemble the fan, test the coils on the armature. Something is wrong, but whether you can fix it is another story. If it were me, I'd toss it and buy a new fan.

I think you are not fit correctly, check again your laptop...
