HELP WITH FR SKY RECEIVER

I have been building a drone, and blah blah. the receiver I have doesn't work. A battery IS required for this, correct? Also, where can I get a radio receiver channel plug to plug in the battery????? I have a FS FlySky FS-R9B. Please help, I need answers before wednesday!!

you might have to make up a power lead using the same type of plug as shown with that loop on it

Thats what I have. However, I need that loop. Any suggestions?

I don't know what the loop does ?
but you do need a same type of connector that you can terminate red an black wires into for the power
