Thanks! I tried to put a 330Ω resistor from the cathode of the LED to GND. It did stop blinking, but when i tried to hook up the same output to another logic gate, specifically an OR Gate, the output of the OR gate lights up, which probably means it inputs a 1. What could be the problem there?Do you have a series resistor with that LED?

The load from the LED is too great for the output to maintain a valid output logic level.
