?? pretty poor performance - you can get that from a decent soundcard and software!

The 20KHz is very under optimistic.
You wont get 1.4 mega samples per second from a sound card.

For a maximum input of 20kHz I wouldn't need it......

Its not a sound card capture pcb its a full oscilloscope with trigger etc
It also has fast fourier transform display.
