I am currently working on two projects 1, a self defense mechanism like a stun but with the spark gaps sewn into the underside of the fingers and the palm. I know these stun guns systems speak of exaggerated voltages of 1,000,000 plus volts . the downfall of these self defense wands, guns, etc. is those pretty blue sparks don't scare the real tough guys are not afraid of the pretty blue arc and generally just get pissed off when they have the stun weapon used on them. I was wondering if I could remove the capacitor that come in them and replace it with a higher amperage capacitor to increase the amperage delivered by the stun gun. AND secondly a simple question . I know a microwave's transformer converts 110 ac to thousands of volt to power the magnetron is their any to deliver the volts dc to power the magnetron? I mentioned before some of these stun gun brag of 1,000,000 volts but do they have the wattage to power a magnetron?
