Hallo guys.
I need a simple single Led flasher circuit that can operate from a 9v and 12v source.
Thanks in advance.
Ps this Must work on veroboard.

Various 555 timer versions will run at those voltages. (google 555 led flasher?)
.
Also an old favourite UJT. (Google ujt led flasher)
.
Google it?

Thanks not going to use 555 but rather use the ujt type circuit. Question is if I can find the parts at my local electronics shop as they dont always keep the parts with certain codes. But I will Google some more in ujt circuits.
Many thanks.

UJTs are not really a modern component, but 2N2646 is still relatively common, I suspect.
There are also flashers based on bipolar transistors that are almost as simple.
.
If you don't mind winding a coil, there's also something called a Joule thief.
