See below? Not seeing anything.thanks for the advice

it was a hit
its a gear and a wheel i need the full height (width) of the treadIs the track tight enough to stay on the gear?.
A possibility is to cut the track in half length ways to just leave the bottom section that meshes with the gear. Or possibly file away the sides of the gear so that it meshes deeper into the track?.
Other than that, you can go ‘specialist’ and replace the track and gear with a cog and chain from a model shop.

I would change that tank tracks and gear, and use a wheel hub and bike chain instead. The large deep tooth will hold up so much better.it blinks and revolves slowly
there is a problem
second year in a row that after a few hours/days the treads fell off the gears
since it is hanging sideways there is nothing to really support it
it revolves so nicely then slowly slowly starts slipping down
any ideas?
A magnet will more than likely stall the motor.I would change that tank tracks and gear, and use a wheel hub and bike chain instead. The large deep tooth will hold up so much better.
If you want to keep this setup, it will be difficult to make it stay. I would try wrapping magnetic tape around the track wheel hub or if their is roon put a microwave magnet in the center. Then add bits of metal or other tiny magnets to either the inside or outside of the track. As the track goes round the magnets will pull the tack back up.
What makes you think that?A magnet will more than likely stall the motor.
I would not have suggested it if there wasn't a very good chance it would work. Even with good strong magnets that come in microwaves, can be used with an appropriate sized piece of metal. It can be anything small enough to stick to the track without it being too noticeable. Anything from coat hanger bits, to metal 1/8 dowel rod. And all you need is a few spaced out so that when one gets to the point it starts pulling the previous one is pulling away.Because it’s a tiny motor, it may not be strong enough.
