washing machine motor wiring

I have acquired 2 old washing machine motors, which I intend to use with cabbing saws, and have watched a few videos to understand the wiring. I have a pretty good picture but need some help to identify a few wires. I am attaching a few pics with numbers that I have added. I will appreciate help.
Am I correct if I wire this motor as following:
Join wire (4) 7 (brush)with 5
6 Live
3 (brush) Neutral

If brushed motors and running on AC, then they are Series field AC/DC (Universal) motors, also the brushes and both field windings would all be in series.
The appear to have some kind of sensor on the back end??

Ah yes, I remember those motors, they used a control board with an IC designed specifically for it from Motorola for washing M/C's using a Universal motor..

One Treadmill manuf, used them to control their M/C's .
The surplus store near me were selling the boards, I picked one up and used it on my band saw, worked good!
