relay

is there a relay that if feeded 5V it will be turned on and 220V will be the voltage to run through the relay? if there is what can you suggest?

i'm asking this because i'm making a device that will connect to the parallel port (aka printer port) of a computer that will controll a bell (bells that are used in schools). the relay is the only one left that i have no idea what to put.

please help me, its just a school project for me. i'm just new to building this kind of stuff.

How much power do you need on the 220V side (Watts)?

Most relays that are large enough to carry a load with 220V have a good size current rating on the coil for powering directly off the parallel port. Be sure to use a transistor to switch the relay on and off.

it's ok now, i have decided to just use a 12V relay, becouse its hard for me to find for a 5v relay in my place.

5v relay are easy to find, in my place i can by each of them for 50 cent. they are also small enough
