    Unspecified capacitor

I don't know is the honest answer I haven't looked at all the flash guns out there. Thanks Adam

    Unspecified capacitor

Yes correct, Metz make flash guns, some of the capacitors were made by Rubycon. Not sure on the value but the I would have thought the voltage rating is going to be 300 Volts plus. Thanks Adam

Looking for a high current darlington transistor.

You can make your own Darlington buy adding another lower power transistor which is just used to supply the base voltage and current to the higher power transistor. Maybe not as good as a true Darlington in one package, you will have to try it. Cheers Adam

    Halo LED

Ok so you will need to get a multi meter and measure the current at some point so you can choose the correct components. I have drawn a circuit which I think should get you going and I have just placed the ignition switch and flasher switch as an example, you will need to check out the wiring...

    Halo LED

Do you also know if the indicator controller currently fitted switches in the power or the common of the battery? Adam

    Halo LED

Ok, do you know how much current the LED ring draws? Adam

    Halo LED

Hello Do you want the LEDs to come on in between the flashes of the indicators or stay off while the indicator switch is on. Cheers Adam

Do you know where to find this case and design?

They probably had their own case made. If I was making something like that I wouldn't rely on a manufacturer to carry on making the cases in their product range. With that said if you only want to build one then OKW have some nice cases that might be of interest to you. https://www.okw.co.uk/en...

    Equalizier Project

If you have a low, mid and high range speaker system then you would need three circuits per set of speakers. Yes you would have the EQ at the front, well that's what I would do. Have a look online and see what other people do. Cheers Adam

    Equalizier Project

You could use an active cross over and have some small amplifiers for the speakers. It all depends on the output power you require. Adam

    Equalizier Project

Hi Cookie. Yes you can run the circuit from batteries, the type and voltage can be worked out when you have selected a suitable circuit. I guess to are looking for an adjustable cross over circuit? Don't be put off by circuits that might require a negative voltage. This can also be done using...

    Spring constant versus electric repulsion

Ok just realised C-2 is part of the units. :) Adam

    Spring constant versus electric repulsion

Hi John What is the C-2? Also is it micro or milli-Coulombs. You say mC in your post and then your calculations show uC. Cheers Adam

Need help figuring out Chinglesh schematic and a PoE module

Ok so without any additional info being available from the supplier I would be looking at changing parts. I have been doing a little digging and -48 Volts is commonly used in telecoms because in the olden day they used negative voltages with respect to GND to stop electroplating taking copper...
