    Homework help!

Have a look on Wiki for reference designators. That should help with some of your questions :) Cheers Adam

Rubber glue for holding wires on ICs/PCBs?

Freezer spray is good for removing hot glue if used carefully Cheers Adam.

Rubber glue for holding wires on ICs/PCBs?

I use either TAC-PAK which is a type of super Glue or RTV which is like a rubber sealant designed for PCBs. Cheers Adam

    Hi guys ;-)

Hi Inked, welcome to EP. Cheers Adam

    SSR triac not releasing

What like I said in post 3 :) If the current through the TRIAC doesn't fall below the holding current then the device will stay on, this might be what is happening. Adam

    SSR triac not releasing

Driving a large inductive load with a TRIAC can cause problems. You might find a snubber circuit helpful. Here is a design guide for you to have a look at...

What does your workshop / workbench look like?

LOL , and do you use all of that stuff? I would love my own little area like that. But I have my garage which I can just fit in with all my wood working tools and a whole lot of junk which some of it is hers truly. Adam

Bandpass transimpenance amp simulation with analog switch

See if this helps. https://www.electronicspoint.com/resources/op-amp-stability.24/ Thanks Adam

Bandpass transimpenance amp simulation with analog switch

The resistor is a RISO resistor used when driving capacitive loads. Thing is unless you have a 2nd order response in the output when you still have gain then the system is stable. There is a way of working out the phase margin.... let me find my resource. Adam

Bandpass transimpenance amp simulation with analog switch

If you have no over shoot then the system will be stable. If you have over shoot then the system may become unstable. You have to be careful driving capacitive loads. Just out of interest put a 4.7 R resistor on the output of X2. Then connect everything else to the other side of the resistor...

Bandpass transimpenance amp simulation with analog switch

The left hand axis is showing dB not phase? or am I missing something. Also a high pass filter of type RC or LC works the way you want for sinewaves only, you are putting in a pulse with multiple sinewave content. Are you trying to make a sinewave from this pulse? Thanks Adam

    Switch button reading function

How do you plan on knowing which one is pressed and how many times? LEDs or something else? Adam

Plug-in supply (switched) with ac output

Hi LVW Not sure if this helps but it has the same name as you have given. One way I guess is to take it apart and see if the circuit looks similar. http://www.electroyou.it/forum/viewtopic.php?t=34099 Thanks Adam

    TDA 7293 power supply?

Yes you can run from DC after all that's what the bridge circuit does. Can you take a picture of the circuit including the bridge rectifier? Welcome to EP BTW :) Adam

    Erasing PIC16C54C

Yes the way I have done it is to use a new start address. Adam

    Erasing PIC16C54C

OTP is slightly misleading. You can programme them more than once if you have enough space left, you just can't erase them. Adam

    Consumption of a Led Matrix

If you are getting a value of zero then yes your supply voltage needs to be higher. How high, well you need to ensure that if the LEDs are at the top of their range of voltage drops you need to ensure they light up. So the next common available voltage source from 9 volts is 10.5 Volts (7 AA...
