    Check out the pony prog. www.lancos.com/prog.html or JDM programmer http://www.jdm.homepage.dk/newpic.htm or any other serial programmer capable of programming Serial EEPROM. Many of them post the source code so you can go through it & do whatever u want. :)

    You can not get delay in terms of 10mins from a 555. Well not without very large capacitor & similar tolerance. Better use a dedicated timer IC for long delays
