Splitting and re connecting LED string lighting

There are so many ways that these lights can be connected, it’s almost impossible to say. Your best bet would be to open the controller and see how they are wired. If triac controlled, I doubt you can T off without running another wire the full length of the split. These types of lights...

    LED bulb+base combo

GU10 is WAY too big to mount on a hand tool. My advice would be to crack open the jigsaw clam shell and see what space is available either side of the blade clamp and also in front of the blade pointing slightly forward. LEDs would be ideal if you have space to mount them. Then we can discuss...

    Simple home project

Yes, 18V if in series theoretically. But I would have them in parallel. Approximately 240mA total if they’re a typical 10mA or better, lower. 3 volt walwart (adapter) @ 300mA for a little head room. The above assumes the two AA batteries are in series.

connecting 4 wired cable 3.5 jack to single cable speaker

The round ‘speaker’ appears to have a red and white. Have you stripped the black wire? There maybe more conductors inside the insulation. A speaker cannot work with one wire.

Telequipment D83, Ch1 trace hard at bottom of screen

I'm wondering if modern 105deg rated, radial lead jobbies would be ok? If the specs are the same, they will be better than old factory ones. And not just for light use.

Can't access sole recordings I have of my late husband's voice

It’s still a bad connection due to the corrosion. You need to take it apart and clean the PCB, especially around the battery connector/springs. Possibly PCB trace repair too. Have you got a friend who is handy with a soldering iron?.

    Burnt component on module

You have loads of online electronics stores, CPC, Farnell, Digikey etc. even eBay. Also, loads of PCB fuses that can replace your wire fuse. A glass type, a TO-92 type etc.

    Burnt component on module

“pa75 n85s" refers to a specific electronic component, likely a type of power transistor, with the original being a GM internal part number. A suggested replacement is the Fairchild FQP20N06L”. There is probably a reason why the fuse blew. Not always of course but more than likely. The above...

    Burnt component on module

They are usually called jumper wires. A metal wire connects one track to another. But in your case it’s in the position of a fuse, reference designator F2. So is it a fuse wire?. Has the board got a F1?.

    Code or hardware issue?

No I didn’t. I didn’t understand that section of code. This evening I will //comment them and see exactly what they do. Afterwards I’ll play with the numbers.
