Newbie - attempting to repair Ford circuit board

You'd be surprised... I once didn't notice the date was about 2 years old on a thread at another forum and replied with some help, Turns out he hadn't fixed it yet and still needed the help. He was finally able to get it sorted out with a donor eeprom file I sent him for the module. Its a good...

Yes you should just be able to buy the same part number. Looking at the datasheet you'd need a dip16 socket.

    ribbon cable connection repair

I hate those locking tabs. They love to get brittle and break on at least one side. I usually do like Dave9 suggests with a shim but I reckon the tape is fine. The only thing I would worry about with the tape is if you tried to remove it later on, those types of ribbon cables damage very easily...

    Treadmill belt won't spin.

I'd check your relays too. Sometimes they can be damaged from bumping around or maybe the arm had was already weakened from use and then moving it around even a little was enough to finish it off. Never worked on a treadmill but I see it a lot in automotive boxes.

    microsoft surface pro 4 repair

First picture looks perfectly fine. Second picture looks off but if its same board as the first picture then seems to just be lighting imo.

    microsoft surface pro 4 repair

Looks ok to me... Looks cracked. Doesn't necessarily mean its bad, could just be the package but its definitely suspect. I looked a little but did not run across any sot23-6's with code of AJ8. If you find out what it is make sure to let us know !

    Module Circuit broken?

Personally I would secure a new header (the pins) then I would jumper the vcc and ground pins to the large capacitor. The tx/rx I would scratch away the red solder mask on their traces and attach a small wire there to jumper to the header. You could also follow the traces and connect the...

Can someone simulate this diagram for me please

I was thinking of using this same schematic for some o2s simulation but never get around to testing it out. If you do try the real thing, let me know how it works out for you.
