    Capacitor Voltage Divider

In this realm, we can't fly without complex machinery around us - nor can't capacitors be used for DC like transformers are used for AC. If it was possible however, any power supply would be ridicilous cheap to buy.

Is there any particular reason this won't work? Thanks

The thing about having no bias is that the signal that the transistor see, Vbe would swing somewhere between 0V and 0.7V, and if the singnal peak voltage never exceeds 0.1V, then the transistor would never get to the point where Ik changes. That is - signal never goes past this point.

Automation seems easy but what am I missing?!?!

Is the issue here to detect increased workload of the motor? Would it be possible to place and use a load cell instead to detect load?

    Query relating voltages in circuit

You have wires on the printed side that doesn't appear at the other picture. How about you drawing the circuit by hand - you're the only person that can see the names of the components and to follow those wires that only appears at one image. . .

    Query relating voltages in circuit

Difficult to give an appropriate answer without seeing the schematic. If you ensure that the inverter is powerful enough to drive the amplifier, it should work. However, the risk is that the output will have a DC component of 12V, which probably will destroy the amplifier and the speakers.

What kind of resistor should be appropriate for my laptop?

Why not use a propriate software to regulate the fans? I suggest you trying to see if SpeedFan will work on your laptop. Also remove dust from the heat sink, fan blades and other places where dust spoils the cooling effect.

    Modify circuit

I'll recomend you to draw a chematic to get the overview of the circuit. You may need to rearrange the components on the drawing so it's easier to read. Also bear in mind that the pictures doesn't reveal name of transistors or ic.

A little help on Sine Waves.

Yes - I was misthinking of course  (why is this "oops" smiley such a cute icon???)

A little help on Sine Waves.

    1. Find a long straight fence. Mark a starting point, and find a place in the landscape that is 36 degree to the fence. Get a rope, make sure it is exactly 100 metres (or whatever unit you choose) long tied between your body and the fence. Then walk out the distance of 100 metres (the rope will...

Cheapest way to get data from multiple(100s) of sensors?

Yes. I can nothing about Arduino itself, but it's clear that the problem must be solved by properly coding. The method is as I explained briefly. You need to create a digital demux so that it can turn on one detector at time - rapidly of course. If you parallel all sensors C and E pin...

Cheapest way to get data from multiple(100s) of sensors?

You failed to describe the sensor - just quoting the term "Reflective IR Sensors" is just way too poor.

Cheapest way to get data from multiple(100s) of sensors?

Depends on what kind of sensor it is. It's probably possible to achieve this by demuxing a line. If using analog sensors I assume you can use one input only (connect all sensor outputs together because only the one given current feed will cause any change in sensor output - assuming normal open).

    Simple Motor Controller Circuit

I assume you're aware the risk of shorting by the mosfets in case both switches is closed.

How to increase amount of Frames per second in a video camera?

If yo don't wan't to alter the video camera and assume that you're interrested in altering the fps when playing the file, I'll suggest using AviDemux for that.

    BJT Output Stage

Hi. Looks like some part of your schematic is missing. You're in great risk of making a shortcut through Q2 and Q3.

    Help needed with Frequency Counter

You should have a set of latches between the 74HC192 counters and the 74HC4511 decoders. Also using a 555 to get excactly one second is quite hard. For the counter to be correct you must be able to get a pulse that last for excactly one second.
