    with all power off, probe it with an ohm meter to confirm what lugs go to what part of the connector. From there you get yourself a pot of coffee and think through your connections.

    Remember, your center pin is the negative terminal it's the outer barrel that is positive. your positive lugs are better described as a positive lug and a battery disconnect lug

    I'd call it sound advice. The load determines how much current will be used, it's up to the supply to have enough to keep up with that demand. Headroom is a good thing.     they exist. Kinda spendy though. Everything is north of $100 USD ... a bit lofty in the context of "try and see" and "just learning". Speaker coloration in this segment of audio is enormous and wildly varied. Research sound clips before investing.
