Drive two relays based on input voltage.

How much current to operate the solenoids? Assume that 12V battery supply is available?

Drive two relays based on input voltage.

Could this be done with one relay that (say) operates at 2.7 and drops out at 2.07 Or even viceversa A description of what you want to achieve would be helpful. What supply voltage to work with would be a start.

Run this 1.5v pump from a 18650 battery

PWM the motor, dropping the voltage is wasting power. How much current does the motor draw?

Touch sensor to activate light for set amount of time

You can get interrupted or reflective optical sensors. Google both terms. Also the emitter can be coded to reduce the effects of incident light .Remote controls all do this. Most remote controls output the code on a carrier further reducing incident signals and allowing higher peak power/range.

I need to hire someone for a logic design

Don't have to use the lens from the mouse. Just the sensor and perhaps a pinhole lens. Or some time ago i used a lens from one of these sort of cheap magnifiers for an LDR light sensor http://www.amazon.com/SE-Loupe-Triple-Folding-Each/dp/B000SV8JAO Some more http://www.dx.com/s/magnifier

Have you looked at automotive gauges.RPM and speed in some cars are driven a little like steppers with a full bipolar step taking 270+ deg.the position controlled by magnitude and polarity of 2 coils current

    Thermostat

The supply is via the .47μF cap and 560Ω resistor. The AC is then clamped by ZD1 to +24V and - .6V the +24 peaks charge the 100μF cap through D3. Applying a low voltage will not damage anything. The supply is limited to 24V by the zener and current limited by the cap and resistor.. Whether it...
