    Huntron Tracker 2000.

Well, Actually that 1000μF/16V with 0.8ohm ESR is clearly faulty! So your ESR meter is good enough. The value and ESR of a cap depend on the cap tolerance(%) and the series(general purpose, low ES,physical size etc.). You need to know those in order to decide if a cap meets it's manufacturing...

I want to make clear sound of the woofer speaker.

Welcome to EP. Generally no ! It is like asking :Will a fifth wheel make a car go faster?... You need to start with a good woofer in a proper acoustic cabinet . You will need at least a twitter which should be well matched to the woofer in acoustic and electrical properties. Then, you should...

    Huntron Tracker 2000.

The issue of finding faults on PCBs is intact very important in many levels if done "in-properly" , may result in costly and time consuming results. In the production phase it is crucial. There a few automated methods used to perform what is called ICT(In Circuit Testing). The newer...

    LED Dimmer suited for task?

This is the kind of stuff you better buy rather than make yourself.

    LED Dimmer suited for task?

This isn't a very safe device,it uses no isolation to drive the 555 timer from the mains. If you use it the least would be for the outer parts(frame/pot shaft and knob) to be well isolated (plastic).

    LED Dimmer suited for task?

Look at section d) Is the one you have a dimmable bulb?

    LED Dimmer suited for task?

They did,If you are trying to control a "pure LED" lamp . Please post the data sheet of the your lamp. In any case it shouldn't have died, the LED would probably blow though...

    LED Dimmer suited for task?

LED dimmer ? Not so ,it is a continuous phase control dimmer mainly use for A.C. halogen and incandescent bulbs light control. While a LED dimmer should be a DC current control circuit.

    Huntron Tracker 2000.

Hop, "early 20th century",clearly a typo...;) Actually it is a very interesting and useful testing and troubleshooting instrument especially in it's newer versions. @HellasTechn There are some nice videos on it here, and see here. And here is some competition. Finally , An explanation(and PC...

I dont know what is this component in my circuit

That "teacher" of yours, is plain and simple, a complete ass-hole! In what school are you learning? It doesn't sound like an engineering university, could be a "practical engineer" one ( handesaie ). Is this a final graduation project? It is a multi discipline project having to do with...

    impedance matching required at 20MHz?

Generally yes, make provision on your PCB for a T or Pi matching network. What is the power you are intended to transmit?

    5v Voltage Regulator Help

It would be better for you to use a 6V transformer with that Low drop-out regulator. That would minimize the power dissipation on the regulator to about 3.5W at 1.5A load.

Help with a connector (Newb Question)

Nice, You were twice lucky, mostly the fact that the first wrong crossed crimp didn't damage anything.

    Reading a ruler help, 1.2 or 1.02

Well, Since you asked,(it is quite obvious to most people), here is a simple way to deal with these kind of linear scales: Each CM(biggest bars) is divided into 10 equally spaced smaller bars with one medium sized one in the middle. It should be interpreted like so: Each small bar is 1/10 of a...

    Vintage Schematic Questions

No need to be Sorry ! That is the way to learn, sometimes we are wrong. My experience clearly tells that we learn more from our mistakes...smoke as well;) More than the capacitor polarization, the basic issue is to supply +Vdc at the output of the rectifier, reversing the diode direction will...

    Electronics for prop control

Hop, As advanced as medicine is nowadays there is still a long way to go in heart related health issues. You probably now that AMD (Age related Macular Degregation) is treatable with eye injections. There is no cure yet, but it keeps the eyesight in relative good condition. Nice to hear you...

    Vintage Schematic Questions

No, You can't reverse the diode ! The Anode voltage of V1 needs to be positive ,not negative. There will be smoke(or a blast) out the electrolytic caps C1A,C1B !

    Vintage Schematic Questions

    1. Ignore the ± sine on the diode, the symbol itself is correct (cathode to the right). 2. 25VAC is the actual voltage,it is the heater voltage of the V1 tube. 3. Yes, but take care,C1A and C1B voltages will have no bleeding path!

    7240PE Q427, Q428, Q429, Q430 - part substitutions

I totally agree ,buy parts from authorized distributes like Digikey Mouser RS etc. If you contact them they can offer suitable replacements if needed. Flames and sparks are not unique to that model. I have seen them on Marantz and AKAI and others. They happen because the DC voltages the PA...
