    Low voltage switches

there may be interference if you overload the transistor current or voltage specs but otherwise I am pretty sure its all good the simplest way to look at DC voltage is path of least resistance. unless the transistor has a reservoir to store extra power it won't "spill out" onto another path

    Low voltage switches

I am a newbie at electronics but this is how I see it there are 2 circuits(its one I know but try to follow me here). electricity follows the path of least resistance. so even though they share a common leg the high voltage will only ever go to its ground and the lower voltage will go straight...

    Scary...

you know here in Australia the police, as part of their training, get tasered, shot with a rubber bullet and pepper sprayed. psychologists are usually given a psychological evaluation. I think that all amateur electronic techs should feel the pain of 3 phase going up your right arm. after that...

    Android IR blaster

built in? that means takking your phone apart and doing SMD work what you could do is use the ear phone jack to send out a signal to a infrared LED. then get your programming hat on and make an app to control it

Which resistors, capacitors, etc. to choose for H-Bridge DC Motor Controller?

my theory behind this is start with the motor, max current is 2Amp.(stall, never a good idea to stall it). this gives me an upper limit for current then I would choose transistors to match. when I got the transistors I want I will find the current needed to switch it on then choose the...

because simply put, a wire has resistance. over long lengths its noticeable. voltage and current can be affected.

ok so I am an arduino fan cos I suck at soldering. but anyway I am hoping people can help me out. I have the following design in my head raspberry pi - USB hub- arduino 1 -motor controller and rotary encoder, the last 2 will be repeated for each segment of the arm. can anyone tell me any issues...

Pencil type soldering iron mod for SMD work.

ok so what worries me is this guy (am assuming male) was sitting back bored one day and he saw the item and thought,"I could solder with that". if I see one of them I think, maybe I should try harder with the missus...... or I try frothing the milk for my coffee..... but to solder is silly lmao

    I2C mesh network

ok so how I understand I2C from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I%C2%B2C shows me a problem. all the info goes through the master.so this means that even though you might have 128 slave devices, they don't communicate directly with each other. if you give us a better idea of your project we might...
