Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

I think they are connected as in schematic below: I'm not sure if it helps for validation of the scematic but I also added 2 photos. I am thinking that when they touch + and - It will stimulate them to sting. Please also check the 3rd picture attachment to see how - and + is rolled around...

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

I measured them with multimeter (without any load) I measured start of Frame_1(+) and end of Frame_1(+) and so on for each frame. Basicly I used only 2 wires on each frame. I stretched one nichrome wire (+) and rolled it around the frame, then I took the second nichrome wire (-) and rolled it...

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

I thought the same thing but wanted to be sure. :D I don't have the frames with me right now hence I tried to show it on a drawing. I will send a photo when I get a chance. Yes, they are not connected. I will add terminal systems at bottom.

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

@Harald Kapp One question about parallel connection. My frames are connected like the picture below. They are parallel right now, right? 6x "DC male barrel to wire jack"s are wired together. I just insert them into the female barrel slots. Below picture is a side view illustration. Grid only...

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

I ordered both of them just in case. To be sure, I will share the final schematic before applying any load. Thank you so much.

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

I measured the resistance at around 25 degrees Celcius room temperature, without any load. Therefore wires should be around the same temperature as well. I measured the each resistive grid frame. Resistance for each frame varies because for 2 of them I used different wires (thinner) to see if...

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

Do I need that resistor at collector end of the transistor no matter what? I mean, I will connect it to my frame (i will add the picture below) It has 341Ω resistance from one end to the other. Do I still need to add that 145Ω resistor? P = 25^2/341 = 1.83W Can I assume it like the above...

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

Oh, yeah. I thought It was hFe slot. And thought this multimeter uses the same slot for current measurement :D I just saw the indicator line when you pointed out. I changed the 2.7kΩ resistor with 145Ω resistor. Now it measures the current. Current: https://streamable.com/qskhs1 Yes, voltage is...

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

Same thing happens with another multimeter. What else could be the issue here? 200mA slot: https://streamable.com/9qy15u 10A slot: https://streamable.com/nnxm6h

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

Replacing the transistor fixed the issue for voltage readings. I read on multimeter: 25V for 3sec then 0V for 3sec on loop. So far so good. But there is still an issue with current. on 200mA slot, I read overload ("1. ") for 3 sec and 0A for 3sec. When I change it to 10A slot, I read 0.01A...

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

Hello. Does this mean the transistor is dead?

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

Just to be sure, It is like the schematic below right? They are advertised to be good up to 2W. I assume this would be OK. By the way, I used 35 Ω/m resistence wires on the frames that this setup will be connected to. (~~ 2 meters)

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

I will do this and will post the results. Thanks. Sorry, I meant Amper but typed voltage by mistake. On 200mA range it shows overload but when I put it on 10A range it shows 0.1A (100mA), which is less than 200mA. That's what confused me. On top of that I read 0.2V and no current with TIP122...

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

@Harald Kapp Hello after a long time :) I almost completed the setup. I connected the device to 5x frames. I measure 25V and 0.1A on each frame. Thanks to your help I made it this far. I will complete and try it in 5 days on my beehive and will post the results. I have a question. According to...

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

Hi. I bought it from a top rated seller on Turkish website "Hepsiburada". And paid 10x of the average value, thinking It is good quality. (Brand: Feriot) (https://www.hepsiburada.com/feriot-4v7-1w-zener-diyot-p-HBCV00000TWXMZ) But It is probably not a genuine part as you said. Therefore, I just...

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

Hi. I can't tell by its look If It is 1W or not. They write it either in title or description. I purchase according to that information. Does this look like 1W ?

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

Hi. Did you check my schematic (post #39 or #40)? I am assuming It looks OK since you haven't said anything. And According to manual my zener diode was 1.3 W (https://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/26335/VISHAY/BZX85C4V7.html)

Ohh. It was parallel. This explains the instant over-heating then.

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

Thanks, I will look at that. Earlier today, I have tried to measure the current on my battery. I plugged the multimeter cable to 10A slot. Within 1 second multimeter cables became insanely hot (only cables became hot) and multimeter couldn't even measure the value while stating that It is...

Boosting the Amper and altering the frequency

Hi. It should be 4.7V ~1W. (According to seller) Edit_1: 4V7 + 85 C + BZX is written on it. Edit_2: I think this is the datasheet: https://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/26335/VISHAY/BZX85C4V7.html
