Yes. I have now finished and tested your board.

    LC parallel tank circuit

Your circuit won't do much as the transistor is not properly biased. See PDF's attached.

Quite right. Busy doing your board at the moment. Will be able to have a look at what you have done soon>

Play a D VD Player through a Guitar amp .

A lot of guitar amp's have an effects send and return facility which will be inserted somewhere in the preamp / tone control stages possibly bypassing the volume control. I suspect this is what you are tapping into.

I would pay you to have a read up on how Operational Amplifiers work as it would also give you some understanding of how you power amp's work as well. They are not to dissimilar.

Looking good. You would be better off with strip board rather than the ones you have. If you get really stuck with building the board, let me know and I will knock one up and mail it to you.

It really doesn't matter how you configure them. You can organise them in any order to suit you. I originally specified a TL034 which is 4 opamps in one IC package. The schematic was drawn using my Simulation software. The Sim' identifies each of the separate amplifiers in the IC with its own...

For some reason I haven't been receiving up to date posts for a few days. You are correct in your assumption. X1 and X2 are indeed part of 1 I.C whilst X2 and X3 are part of a second I.C. The battery connections go as shown for the 9V supply in the schematic. The 0V connection which is...

Stage Line 500W amp repair project

I can remember my first attempts at building circuit on Veroboard over 50 years ago. They were a bit of a disaster none of them worked. It takes a while to get your head around a good layout. That's why I suggest planning out on paper first.

Plan it out on a piece of paper you can then have as many goes as you like until it looks right without wasting lots of components.

Stage Line 500W amp repair project

Yes but, it might be easier to take all components of and start again. The best way for you to attack it is draw a grid representing the hole and strips of your veroboard and then plan out component placement before mounting any bits.

Never mind. The first step is always the hardest. Do you have any more veroboard and can you get the sockets off without damaging them?

Stage Line 500W amp repair project

    Yup. They are DUAL opamp's

Stage Line 500W amp repair project

Why have you used 4 IC sockets when you only need 2?

Stage Line 500W amp repair project

See attached OPAMP pinout sketch. The spot indicates pin 1 sometimes they will have a notch at the top instead.

If you have some then yes. If not buy some 8 pins sockets.

    LC parallel tank circuit

The LC circuit should be in series with the 1K resistor as previously stated. Edit: Have just seen your pictures. The response is correct. I intended you to put the 1K resistor on the top of the LC circuit so that it goes to the + arm of the ac source. It would then give the response previously...
