Need help with re connecting some speakers

Also, check if the stereo has an AUX IN connection. You can use a jack to jack cable and plug other devices into the stereo and use this as the amplifier.

Need help with re connecting some speakers

Speakers are usually driven/powered by an amplifier within the stereo, or an external amplifier unit. They cannot simply be wired to an audio jack. The amp is usually proportional to the size of the speakers. What size speakers are they? I used to have a small external amplifier which had an...

    Laminator for PCB's ?

The GBC HeatSeal H312 laminator arrived! Heats up very hot even on mid setting, so I don't think I'll have a problem heating the dry film. The PCB got stuck at first, so I opened up the Laminator and found two springs pulling down the top roller on either side.. loosened these and now it takes...

    Pin 7 of 555 timer doesn't discharge

I see you've written 0.1uF where there should be a cap.. Pin 5 should not be connected to ground. Also, check your relay doesn't draw anymore than 200mA otherwise this should be switched using a transistor. I'm not entirely sure how the trigger circuit functions, but you could use a 1MΩ...

    Mobility scooter

I'd recommend waiting for a second opinion first, too see how others gauge your continuous current from the static resistance. I've just made an educated guess.

    Mobility scooter

Yeah 3.2Ω looks about right, if you have a 24V motor Ohms law gives you 7.5A current. However, while the scooter is under load the motor will pull considerably more current. I'm not sure how to gauge this, but from my own experience it could be 3 or 4 times this amount. So if someone...

    Mobility scooter

Set your multi-meter to the Omega symbol 'Ω'.. You might only have one Ω setting, but you could have a few Ω settings with multipliers. In that case set it to a low Ω setting such as x1 or 200. Disconnect the motor and measure across the two connections. Include a picture of your multi-meter...

    Laminator for PCB's ?

That would be helpful Steve I'd really appreciate that, but are you sure you don't need it? Would you like me to buy it from you and pay shipping? :)

Can someone help describe how this circuit works?

As Bob said the circuit diagram is very poor. My first task here would be to redraw the circuit and then I would calculate the expected voltages at each voltage divider.

    Laminator for PCB's ?

I found this laminator in australia from BlueJets link: http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/lowell-laminator-a4-lool280 Sadly, It wont let me buy this from the UK. Not sure if this latest one is spring-loaded.

    Is this a resistor?

    Yes that is a surface mounted resistor (SMD). 101 means 10 x 10^1 = 100Ω Another example: 212 means 21 x 10^2 = 2.1kΩ

    Laminator for PCB's ?

I've been using dry film that's on a big roll, it has two protective layers on either side. The Method I've Prepared: 1) Print PCB design on transparency -> Commercial printers/Laser printers 2) Clean the copper PCB with acetone 3) Remove one protective layer from the dry film and apply to...

    Laminator for PCB's ?

In what sense did you modify them? Can you modify a laminator to fit a 1.5cm pcb? I like this method though since its cheaper

    Laminator for PCB's ?

Hi Guys, I need a laminator so i can transfer dry film to a copper clad PCB. How do I know the laminator can fit the PCB? Most laminators say the maximum pouch size is 250Microns (0.25mm). But I need one that can fit a 1.5mm PCB Any recommendations? Thanks, Ash

Note that the picaxe datasheet states that it can sink and source up to 20mA. Yes your right, of course :)
