    Help needed about ICL7135 pinout

Thank you for that info, but I need to say that I never open holes on the PCBs. I have always surface-mounted the components on my PCBs. (See pictures) In the beginning, it was due to the lack of proper drill bits to do it, now I think that it is easier to mount the components on the surface...

    Help needed about ICL7135 pinout

Thank you very much for your answers. I already had that datasheet from Maxim, but as I have never used SMD, I know nothing about it. There is always a first time for everything, so I think time has come. I will prepare a small PCB for experimentation. I will let you know results. Thanks

    Help needed about ICL7135 pinout

Hello A friend of mine gave several MAXIM ICL7135cqi chips. I would like to experiment with these chips as they could be useful to build a good digital bench multimeter. The datasheets that I have found on the web, show the pinout of the dual in line package. but the ones that I have are of the...

    Building my own bench drill

We have a lot of sand, maybe more than the rest of the world. Just pay a visit to Varadero beach and you will understand what I'm talking about. There is a lot of compressed air too. In the garages to inflate the tyres of the vehicles. Can't see the relation. Yes, our electric grid is nothing...

    Building my own bench drill

Saddly not. I will solve it with wire brush and sand paper Sure. The drill of my old man is placed above a wooden bench, but the bench that I have lacks the words "properly made". I don't have wood, but I have metal, so, my solution will not be a wooden one.

    Building my own bench drill

Mr Time has been implacable with me, but I have found the way to work on this project. This weekend I finally assembled it. Althought I want to improve it with some turnery pieces, it works how it is. Of course it need painting, and I promise ti paint it before put in service. First I have to...

    Capacitor Explosions

Do it when your wife isn't at home, or she will pull your ears (or something else) due to the debris and the fumes all around the place. Clean everything before she gets back, and blame the neighborg for the bad smell. It has worked for me.

How do constant current loads work and how to make one

Depending on the value of constant current that you need, the LM317 is always a good choice (at least to me) http://www.bristolwatch.com/ccs/LM317.htm

    Building my own bench drill

Oil, grease, paint,...everything is scarse here. Rust is not. But that is not the reason. The drill has grease and oil in the vital parts. Most materials used here are retrieved from unused things, very oftenly from dumped things, so they are rusted. That is not the reason neither. Rust is...

    Building my own bench drill

Sorry, a bit delayed but this is what I was talking about. Now it is a single sliding piece welded to the C-beams, and it does not need alignment. And now this is how it is till now. The drill fully down. The drill fully up
