    Yes. You need to connect the secondary windings in series and in phase. If they are in phase, you will get about 12 volts (addition); if not in phase, a small voltage (the difference). The permissible load current will be dependent on the smaller transformer ratings.

    Why use Relays? It will be much better to use Opto Coupled Thyristors that can be directly driven by the LM xxxx. No contact sparking, No chatter, Unlimited Life Cycle as compared to a mechanical Relay.

    Most likely because the Output Capacitors take some time to discharge thru' the LED's. Shut off the PSU and wait for some time. The LED will (or should) finally turn off.

    Thanks Dave, you answered the doubts. I should have mentioned that the end rectangle was only a USB connector and the connections are Not in order, yes, that's not a junction as Dave said - should have been careful to "loop" it :D I see no reason why the circuit should not work :confused:

    I think your problem is elsewhere. Why should the computer attempt to boot from the External Disk? Check your BIOS to ensure that the "Booting Order" is correctly set so as to boot from the Internal Hard Disk.
