    Quite possible to set up a basic latch circuit (not a mechanical latching relay as such) with your existing pressure mat triggering the alarms. Then it would be a simple matter of an internal "secret location" alarm reset button. With this arrangement one could jump up and down on the pressure...

    I'd say given the other triacs in the same locality and their markings, you are pretty much on the money. Actual type...who knows, perhaps a oem number...again who knows...Op first shows TA3 and then TA4...???? Is the good one shown the same as the "blown one we do not see"...??

    As far as I can see you already have your voltage pulse....the mat switch will turn off again after one steps off the mat....all-be-it a second or so pulse.

    Cannot imagine it. Sighting the thread guage is required to differentiate between thread pitches and if the screws are as small as you say, then would be almost impossible to see, let alone be able to place the guage on the screw thread accurately.
