    Sine wave Inverter Project

To make 230VAC with a sinewave, the output of the amplifier must be 650Vp-p. So it is practical to make a class-D amplifier with a low output voltage but a high output current then stepup the voltage with a transformer.

    Electronic parasite zappers

The schematic for the power supply circuit is in the other thread so I answered it there. In this thread you attached schematics and circuit boards that are different from each other. Totally confusing!

    Transformer Power Rating

Yes I think it will, if your power supply is strong enough.

    Transformer Power Rating

As I said at the beginning of this thread, a 28VAC transformer won't make 40VDC at its full loading, but if this circuit has positive and negative 40V then the amp will probably provide 85W into 8 ohms or 140W into 4 ohms.

Inverter Circuit 12V DC to 230VAC Sine Wave

I don't know how to filter such a high power circuit. Some UPS's use a custom-made "ferro-resonant" transformer and have a sine-wave output. You didn't attach a circuit here. You attached a circuit without part numbers in another forum.

    Relay Switching Problem

Hi Shaiq, Connect the resistor to the COM contact which toggles between the NC when not activated and the NO when activated. You want two opposite things but it can do only one of them: 1) "i want to use the relay so that when it switches at some signal, it connects my 220ohms resistor to...

    0-30 Vdc Stabilized Power Supply

These are the parts and how it works:

    0-30 Vdc Stabilized Power Supply

Hi MonSSter, I don't think its negative supply is working. One end of R14 connects to the base of Q1. The other end connects to the -5.6V supply. Check the parts that are supposed to make the negative voltage. Without the negative voltage then Q1 conducts all the time and shorts the output of U2...

    Electronic parasite zappers

Watch out you don't poison yourself with those quack "medicines". I don't believe in that rubbish.

    Electronic parasite zappers

What is supposed to happen when you put a little 12V (actually 10V) pulse on your skin? I tried it and didn't feel anything. I didn't even feel better! ;D

    0-30 Vdc Stabilized Power Supply

If Q1 is connected wrong, shorted, doesn't have R13 and R14 the correct values or doesn't have a negative supply (-5.6V) for R14 then U2 will get hot. Q1 is supposed to turn on and short the output of U2 to 0V when the negative supply disappears quickly when the AC power is turned off so that...

    solar light

8 hours at 0.75A is 6Ahrs. Four Ni-MH rechargable D cells will power a light that long. A solar panel to charge them will cost about $100US, will be huge and will charge the battery only on very sunny days.

    solar light

Hi Robster, Krypton bulbs are incandescent and therefore are inefficient. An incandescent bulb uses electridity to heat its filament to a temperature of many thousands of degrees so that it glows. 90% of the battery's power is used as heat and only 10% is light. LEDs and fluorescent lights are...

    500W_inveter

Hello Aregee, You didn't say a word about the output stage of a sine-wave inverter you attached that works with PWM to be efficient. Does it work? How much power? Which Mosfets?

    0-30 Vdc Stabilized Power Supply

Hi Arge, Sure, a Switching Mode Power Supply (SMPS) can provide a high 10A output current and a variable voltage, but it has ripple at its switching frequency. This project is a linear power supply that gets hot and when when working properly doesn't have ripple.

    Theory discussion moved from Q/A

Try measuring the current gain of a few hundred 2N3055 transistors to find one with a gain high enough to allow the little 2N2219 to be its driver in the power supply project. Try ignoring the very high ripple when its output voltage is only 25VDC and its current is more than 2.5A. The project...

New Tv.. help me out please

Talk to a store that sells them about a lens, screen and mounting bracket. Ask them how to receive high definition TV in your part of the world.

New Tv.. help me out please

Hi Wiz, That's a nice projector. It says it needs a lens. It also needs a screen and a mounting bracket. For TV to be really good you need to have cable TV or satellite TV that is High Definition. Then you can connect it to a good sound system of an amplifier and speakers.
