Mig welder wire speed controller problem

Wire feed speed can be affected by a few things. Dirty or rusty wire. Outer feeder tube dirty, blocked or bent Feeder clutch slipping or worn Feed motor faulty or worn out I doubt changing the thyristor would change enything but it would be my last thought.

I've been out of this too long...

First up, modifying a piece of, more than likely, certified equipment might land you in hot water. Then I would be cautious on the use of anything remote control due to the extra failure possibilities that could leave one high and dry or worse. Other than that, there are remote relays on many...

microwave oven Fuse blew, replacement blew too after 1\2 second

One cannot test a HV microwave diode with a conventional "diode test" on a multimeter. Video not English but easy to follow..... first diodes are ok....last one is shorted.

    Weird fault, need help

Look for any leaky electrolytic capacitor and check (reflow) for dry joints in the solder pads. Warning...be extremely careful poking around in there with the mains connected in any way..... AND discharge any electrolytics, especially any larger ones via a resistor BEFORE poking you mitt in...

    Recommendation for re-winding transformer?

    Link shows....... The 222-C power transformer has the following characteristics: Primary: 117 VAC Secondary: 360-0-360 VAC @ 150 mA 50 VAC @ 150 mA 6.3 VAC @ 5A 5.0 VAC @ 2.0A not a standard run-of-the-mill replacement I would think

    Recommendation for re-winding transformer?

Do you have a photo of your transformer? Measurements of the physical size would also benefit. Just it will give a better idea on complexity of any rewind.

IC MK1841D3 Board from old power supply

Appears the 2 pin connector at the bottom is the power supply. Trace the circuit you will see one leg to ground and one to a diode which feeds the input of the voltage regulator 7805. The 3 pin connector has one pin to ground with the remaining 2 pins leading to the MK1841D3. According to the...

    Microwave sparking from side panel

Good to know. Shame the same does not apply in Aus. Over here, after it's sold, they don't want to know you, even for legit warranty, just referred to a phone number (at best). Slightly off topic...... car battery 3 year full warranty.....doubtful condition after 2 years.....installer (nope...

Maybe that is the law but good luck with that......somethings are simply just not worth the effort. I could almost guarantee that "Where you bought it" would say, out of warrany or at best, here is a phone number.

TFT Screen problem (Toshiba TECRA 730CDT)

If the pic is fine with external monitor that sort of rules out the laptop video driver section and points at the display itself as Kellys_eye suggests.
