How does energy work in EST device?

Good place to start, saves any long winded reply and wheel re-inventing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrostatics

Controlling/limiting a 6v DC motor with polarity module

Probably quite a few ways to do this This part doesn't make sense to me though. Following your first requirements, wire the common and normally open of a limit switch to the trigger contacts. When the drive reaches the end of the first run, the limit switch first closes, and as the motor drives...

TEAC stereo receiver won't turn on

In that schematic you supplied, the power to the transformer is controlled by a relay. Could be some type of standby arrangement, I didn't go into it much when I saw that. Could test T101 as that seems to be the standby supply tranny. Shouldn't be difficult to bypass there with a link from...

Need equivalent to this part. In stock in USA supplier

Before starting a test on the scr you should determine the polarity of your multimeter probes as some are reversed output on the low ohm range. Testing on a standard diode is a good indicator, then if reversed, interchange the test probes on the meter. Some analog meters work this way. Also be...

Momentary switch to swap between 2 loads and off

Good thinking....only make it a toggle switch with centre off, not momentary. (on-off-on) Think the op will have to make a compromise here.

Momentary switch to swap between 2 loads and off

Given the shutdown at the end off the same button, only option I can see is a microcontroller. Naturally it will need to be up and running initially to monitor the push button states and counter.

Momentary switch to swap between 2 loads and off

Toggle can easily be done with a flip flop circuit, however additional requirements may need a small microcontroller for simplicity. One thing immediately obvious is what starts to whole process, the same pushbutton??

A question about monitoring mains power consumption

I can hear mine boiling click off from my office and the kitchen is 8 metres away. I'm surprised you don't want it to send you an email........:rolleyes:

Need equivalent to this part. In stock in USA supplier

That plus here is an SCR test proceedure. Out of circuit naturally. If no circuit diagram is available then sketch out what you have. If you are a lecky as stated, this should be no problem on a basic salt chlorinator. Did you say you have a similar diagram...?? Don't see it here anywhere...

    Caddx NX-6

Not up on alarms per se. however, logically it sounds like the area sensor is still in alarm. Has that been cleared or reset at the source?

    Meter screw up a fluke?

Some only go to 200 on low ohm.

    Voltage sensing for switching accessories

Could probably use an LM393 in place of the TL071 also....might be more available.

Best material to create a soldering tip?

Aluminium won't work. Old style was copper. These days the tips are some form of modified coating steel but copper will get you there. Why not just buy the correct tips?

    Voltage sensing for switching accessories

You could use a transistor driven relay with a reference zener or a 555 circuit that will sense above say 13V. Just one example here but there are many. With the relay output you can pick whether the output contacts feed or cut off a load when the relay is either on or off. The logic might be...

Circuit to Spike 24Vdc then go to 0V

Monostabe circuit ....most of what first comes to mind though requires the circuit to be on and wait for a trigger pulse to give the one output pulse of a predetermined time rather than a high, low at power up. Then again maybe a transistor resistor capacitor might get you there. More detail on...

    Vibration Sensor

If you took note and watched the videos, you would have learned that they are not sensitive devices. Sometimes I wonder why I waste my time.

    Vibration Sensor

Think you'll find the sensor is simply a spring with a centre electrode similar to below. It really depends on your application and your level of knowhow as there are more accurate devices around such as ADXL345 accelerometer but it requires an amount of at least some programming knowledge...

    DC Motor Driver Problem

Only you will be able to check the current draw but I'm guessing it's more than the so-called rated current of 10 amp. Probably popped the output element whatever that is. More than likely a mosfet and again, more than likely the one on the large heatsink. It's a wonder the fuse is intact, that...

    Gaussmeter circuit

Appears to me the negative input to 4A is fed from the hall output.

    Gaussmeter circuit

As far as I can see they are doing 2 different operations. 4B is watching the hall output while 4A is comparing the hall output to 1/2 of the reference voltage. What is the hall effect type? Think you may need to provide more info.
