Need a new multimeter - any thoughts

Just for hobby use, almost any would do the job. Problem with most hobbyists though is, at some time or other they cannot resist the need to shove the test prods into a mains connected device. Meters have catagories, starting from 1 and up to cat iv. Each has internal breakdown and protection...

Help Replacing A Ceiling Fan with a 2 wall switch to single switch light fixture.

It all depends on how the fan/light and the wall switches were wired as there are several ways, depending on the original installation. It appears from your quote you have next to zero knowledge of electrical and even talking you thorough with the benefit of multiple images would be a chore...

Having trouble making a 555 timer circuit for a 0.5ms LED flash...

Thought that would have been obvious given the possible inaccuracy of the turntable speed.

Rasberry Pi totally unnnecessary for such a menial task. Uno would be ok but plenty of clone ProMini's on Ebay etc. Promini is a fraction of the size. Stepper ok, just different, not necessarily better. Depends on your mechanics I guess. So long it is designed in such a way as you don't loose...

How to solve vibrating noise (Cause: low voltage across coil) of magnetic contactor

Contactor coil is obviously 220vac and the contactor is designed for that level, not 180vac. Tolerance is normally around 5% maximum, run it on less and you'll cook it as well as what damage I can only imagine would happen to the contacts and the load.

Having trouble making a 555 timer circuit for a 0.5ms LED flash...

Turntables driven by synchronous motors should be correct speed most of the time BUT if the drive mechanism slips a bit or the frequency of the mains is off a bit, then it will not be exactly your required rpm. When listening to a record one possibly would never know the difference. Arduino...

What happens if your 45 rpm turn table is a bit off in speed..? Seems to be an idea application for a pro mini or similar.

LDR based relay switching with the help of Very Low Cost, Low Power Microcontroller

Why exactly 4.52V...? Arduino pro mini is around $3.00 and will allow addition of many input/output easily and easy to write code. Don't think the analog input will stretch to the accuracy of 10's of millivolts though. Think it is more like 5mV (on a 5V unit) but even then, not stable...

    Amazing and challenging problem!

Not quite sure what you want......... Description of your application, what you have done so far and the problem you are having would be helpful. No one is going to design anything for you.

Repair of Oven Control Board - Maytag Range

The first problem with removing ic's from pcb is, they were never meant to be removed in the first place. Everything on the board would originally have benn soldered (more than likely) using wave soldering i.e. everything at the one time. To remove the IC, all 16 pins have to be heated at...

Repair of Oven Control Board - Maytag Range

Explain what you mean by.......... "heating it up" and .........."stays on until there is a power disruption". As explained in the data sheet, the chip is a series of darlington transistors. If you buy the through hole version to suit your part number you should be fine. Tests on these devices...

    Is my schematic correct?

It is more conventional ( and less troublesome) to add pull-up resistors in software and to run switches to ground. Naturally alter code to suit.

    Heat batteries

Forget it. You have you sensing A-up. The BMS units sense voltage /current levels and take appropriate action long before any thermal device would activate. That's why it's called a BMS.
