Re:Is it possible to wire a BLDC PWM motor controller input in parallel??

Nothing in place to sync the pwm between the two controllers so I'd think no way. What would be possible would be to up the number of mosfets on the output for a higher current handling capability but there are limits there as well. More mosfets means more gate capacitance and possibly a...

    Help identifying component

It's an elcheapo $30.00 receiver. Flown all kinds of aircraft in the last 60 years and I tend to shy away from anything that would create a weak link in the rc. Aircraft are usually worth many times that of the dodgy part. Not only that, but it puts others at the flight line in danger.

Newbie question on 50 year old pottery wheel

As was earlier explained, if the armature hit the centre before the contacts closed, it would never have originally latched. AND if it were the latching contacts not closing, then the push button would have allowed initial run while the push button was held in. Neither is the case. That's the...

    Electro plating power supply

Could but can't be bothered now. As it stands, it was the Op who requested adjustable current, not me. Last line in the first post and last line in the 3rd post.

Newbie question on 50 year old pottery wheel

Originally the Op pressed the armature with power on and the unit latched so I'm guessing the relay is working as it should.

Wiring for a 3 phase motor starter blowing L1 fuse

Photo not clear and does not show the complete label. Same for your original schematic above. #3. Tip is to review and see if you can read it before posting. Motors can pull up to 4 times full load current at startup, that's why there is such a device as motor start fuse. 10hp I'm guessing has...

AS well as above........ If you can hear a slight buzz when turned on, most likely the capacitor. (black square device in terminal cover). Windings look ok.

Newbie question on 50 year old pottery wheel

As I previously said, I'm fairly certain the switch will contain 2 types of independant switches. ( as well as the neon ) One is momentary and one is changeover. ( Google the difference, it's not rocket science) A "basic" switch is not going to work. Ed laid out a fairly detailed routine on...

Newbie question on 50 year old pottery wheel

Is the push switch momentary or does it click on and click off...?? One part of it should at least be momentary and going by the latch contact on the relay I'm guessing momentary should be from the grey to the brown on the push switch, primarily because you say you push the relay in by hand and...

Newbie question on 50 year old pottery wheel

Add to M's comments....if you push the relay manually and it stays on, then it is wired as a hold-in relay. Don't know why but perhaps there was a momentary contact push button in the coil circuit previously which would do the same thing without having to poke around the dangers of high voltage...
