Technical Name For Pellet Diode in Battery Charger

Some technology simply fades away due to the fact that nobody wants them as cost of manufacture is too high or they didn't work the way they wanted or whatever. Perhaps it was simply one manufacturers idea and he went broke. Usually good ideas are copied and carry on.

Technical Name For Pellet Diode in Battery Charger

They are simply referred to as "press fit". Usually pressed in from the back of the plate. These shown below in the link are solder connection whereas yours appear to be more of a particular manufacture type where the connection is riveted. Can't say I've seen that type before. You will find...

Make a flow switch from a hall-effect flow meter

If I understand correctly what you want to do i.e. if there are pulses then ok , go ( in your words) and if no pulses from the hall effect, then no-go. Pretty simple to set up the hall effect as a "re-trigger" on a 555 timer. Set the timer to say a few seconds,or whatever, and if there are no...

1.5 volt bulb won't light in my circuit newbie

Along the same lines, friend of mine and I are also into model engineering. I do his ignition systems, he helps with my castings. He often talks about how, when he was a kid, he would stare into the window of a local hobby shop in the UK where he lived then and think, yeah, one day. Later he...

Input power vs Output power in pro amps

Might be wise for you to stay away from anything remotely associated with air conditioning. The reasoning there between cooling/heating Kw and motor ratings will do your head in....... :):)

how to determine the right voltage for led lamp?

Bob, I have a funny feeling the Op is using a different LED strip in the 2 photos supplied. Bottom photo is what appears to be the protective paper stripped back from the "sticky surface" and I assume it to be a new strip. Whereas the top photo is all gunky and grimy like it's been around for a...

1.5 volt bulb won't light in my circuit newbie

That's what is in the video. It is both voltage and current adjustable. (V and I markings on the 2 pots):)

    Heating Belt for Brewing

Says in the description below the purchase item you can regulate the temp. The heat can be regulated by moving the brew belt higher or lower on the vessel.

    Vision camera software programming

System basics here .... https://www.stemmer-imaging.com/en/knowledge-base/vision-system/ I think any queries would be best directed at that company as it seems rather unique to them.

1.5 volt bulb won't light in my circuit newbie

Which video are you referring to,,,?? Most arrangements such as this require no resistor. It was the reason I posted a link to similar small buck converters. small adjustable ones here (5 in a pack)...

how to determine the right voltage for led lamp?

In the original photo it shows 2835 which is, as Alec_t says, 0.2W per LED. Alec_t has already shown how to calculate the voltage and current requirements for the supply. If you changed the number per group, recalculate with the new number and you have it. Just be aware there are various...

    Fuse for DSC PC3000 1AMP

I use a 150W series lamp (on 240v) to test any circuits that have previously blown a fuse. Lamp will come on at full brilliance if there is any doubtful device on the mains side. If ok the unit will normally try to start.

how to determine the right voltage for led lamp?

The question i submitted was to find where the LED strip originated as it might give some insight as to the control required. Your photo suggests it came from some piece of equipment.

how to determine the right voltage for led lamp?

From the label, it looks to me like whatever that LED strip came out of already has a mains driven unit inside it. Not a monitor by any chance..??

Question about repairing a Samsung Syncmaster p2450h monitor

OK...good to see you are getting some success. Can you post a link to where you found the spare switch pcb online for any future enquiry? EDIT:- ...I have exact same unit...must be millions of these models around. Fixing method may well be as you suspect with the "sticky stuff" . Never really...

Question about repairing a Samsung Syncmaster p2450h monitor

I assumed the rest was working. You do not say. Board looks a real mess especially down the lower part of the latest photo. Looks like the main on off has corroded tracks. Isopropyl Alcohol is the usual cleaner liquid. Usually small containers of 250ml or about that cost an arm and a leg but...

Exactly and many of those charge modules do not have floating output but rather common negative. So big bang perhaps.

Question about repairing a Samsung Syncmaster p2450h monitor

yes well, when i wrote that I thought maybe they will think ....noooo, never but there ya go. "beginning" means start of #3 reply. As far as the LED module being unmovable, perhaps but can you not check connections and give it a clean while it is in place..?? oh, and do NOT use soap and...

1.5 volt bulb won't light in my circuit newbie

When you use these so called "smoke alarm batteries" you have to remember the amount of current they can deliver is only small. Not suitable at all for what you want to do as others have pointed out. You want to drive a load at 300mA then get something decent like a plug pack for 9v or / if...

Question about repairing a Samsung Syncmaster p2450h monitor

Looks like it has had a pretty hard life so far. It would seem logical the "touch" part would be integrated into that board in the photo. Maybe crook connection where it plugs in . Perhaps if you removed some of the dirt and filth from in and around the board. ?? Low level of the LED's...
